Hi Ladies,
Our first MOPS meeting last Thursday was wonderful. If you were unable to join us, we kicked of our year of Adventures in Mothering. Mary, our new Director, did a great job. We had a large group, laughed a lot and just got to know each other better. I wanted to give everyone a quick heads up about our upcoming events:
MOPS Moms Night Out
Thursday, October 9th, 7:00pm

Monthly MOPS Meeting
Thursday, October 16th
9:00am-11:30am
Beaver Dam Baptist Church
123 Beaver Dam Church Road
We will send out more info on October's meeting, but remember 1) Canned food and non-perishables for the DSS pantry and 2) Please pray over Dori and Rebecca as the prepare to share prayer journaling.
Also, Steering Team, don't forget that we are meeting on the October at Broadriver Coffee, Shelby at 7:00pm to get ready for our October meeting.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is a group where moms build friendships, receive encouragement, gain hope and grow as leaders while their children are lovingly nurtured in a MOPPETS program.

- MOPS Mom's Night Out, Broad River Coffee Shop on Marion Street, 2nd Thursday of the Month, 7:00pm
- MOPS Monthly Meeting, Beaver Dam Baptist Church, 3rd Thursday of each month, 9:00am-11:30am

- MOPS groups exist to support every mother of a preschooler and adapt to fit the size and personality of the group’s community. The groups are not Bible studies, but a safe, inviting place for women to grow closer together and develop a personal relationship with God. During MOPS meetings, your children will be cared for in a program called MOPPETS, where they experience love in a preschool setting.
